How to Choose the Right Size Golf Cart
The right cart is the smallest one that covers your normal load. Every extra seat adds length, weight and parking friction, and a cart that lives outside because it does not fit the garage is a cart you stop using.
Start with people, not features
- Two seats: single driver, courses, tight storage
- Four seats: families, guests and neighborhood runs
- Six seats: shuttles, large families and work crews
Measure before you order
Check garage depth, door width and the turning circle. Rear-facing seats and enclosures add length, and a lift kit raises the roof — all three matter if the cart lives indoors.
Match battery to load
A six seater carrying adults up hills needs more capacity than a two seater on flat ground. Range figures assume a light load; ask what yours will look like in practice.
