Three Ways to Find an Affordable Golf Cart
Affordable and cheap are different things in this market. The goal is a cart whose batteries make sense at the price — everything else is comparatively inexpensive to fix.
Three routes to value
- Outgoing model years during clearance events
- Inspected pre-owned carts with documented batteries
- Trade-ins being moved on quickly by dealers
What to avoid
Carts with unknown battery history, listings with no serial number, and anything priced far below the market without an explanation. There is always a reason, and you will be paying it.
Negotiate on facts
Battery age, tire condition and missing accessories are all defensible negotiating points. “I think it is worth less” is not.
